David S. Innes

David is the host, creator, editor and writer of Grain of Truth and founder of How Delightful Theatre. 

He is one half of the comedy group Innes Lloyd and has written a number of original and successful festival shows including (but not limited to) Bev and Myrt and the Scrolling of Doom (How Delightful Theatre), The Lost Casebook of Sherlock Holmes, A Bond Among Us and Mina Harker: Monster Doctor (Innes Lloyd). 

David is also an improviser and developed the Doctor Who inspired format Time Lord which has been a recurring favourite at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. 

David's influences include Monty Python, Big Train, Qi, Whose Line is it Anyway?, Doctor Who and The Micallef Program.

Outside of the theatre world, he is a high school maths teacher.
